Student Rules & Policies
Thank you for your purchase and welcome to languageinstructor.online! To ensure a professional, secure, and highly effective learning environment for our 1:1 lessons, please review the following terms. By completing your enrollment and participating in lessons, you acknowledge and agree to these policies.
1. Minimum Age Requirement
- Age Eligibility: The educational programs offered by languageinstructor.online are designed and intended exclusively for individuals aged 18 and older. By completing your payment and enrollment, you confirm that you meet this minimum age requirement.
2. Monthly Lesson Packages & Expiration
- Rolling Billing Period: Lesson packages operate on a monthly rolling cycle based on your sign-up date. For example, since you enrolled and paid today, your next automated payment and billing cycle will begin on the same calendar day of the following month. Packages are valid only for the specific monthly billing cycle in which they are purchased.
- Automatic Expiration & No Roll-Overs: Any lesson not used before the end of the applicable billing cycle automatically expires and cannot be refunded, transferred, or redeemed at a later date unless otherwise agreed in writing. Unused lessons do not roll over to future months or billing periods.
- Non-Transferable: Lesson packages are strictly personal and non-transferable. They may not be shared, sold, or assigned to another individual without prior written approval.
3. Approved Communication & Rescheduling
- Official Channels Only: I only communicate and work through WhatsApp Business and email. Scheduling changes, cancellations, or administrative concerns are considered received only when submitted through these two approved channels.
- Social Media Policy: Messages, DMs, or comments sent to my Instagram account or any other social media platform will not be considered received for scheduling, cancellation, billing, or administrative purposes.
- Contact for Changes: You must contact me directly through the approved channels for any schedule modifications. All changes are subject to my current availability.
- The 3-Hour Rule: If you need to reschedule or cancel a class, you must notify me at least 3 hours before the scheduled start time.
- Late Notice & No-Shows: If you fail to notify me at least 3 hours in advance, or if you do not show up, the class will be taken as given (fully charged) and cannot be refunded or made up.
4. Punctuality
- Lessons begin exactly at the scheduled time.
- If a session starts late due to student delay, it will still end at the originally scheduled time out of respect for subsequent students.
- If a student does not show up within the first 15 minutes of the class without prior notice, it will be treated as a no-show and taken as given.
5. Teacher Cancellations, Technical Issues, & Platform Substitution
- Teacher Cancellations: If I must cancel or reschedule a lesson, the session will be rescheduled at no additional cost to you.

Technical Disruption: * If a lesson cannot be completed due to technical or internet issues on my side, the missed time will be fully rescheduled.
- If technical issues occur on the student’s side, the lesson will proceed within the originally scheduled timeframe whenever possible, but lost time cannot be credited or refunded.
- Platform Substitution: Lessons are primarily conducted via Google Meet; however, I reserve the right to use an alternative online meeting platform (such as Zoom) when reasonably necessary to provide scheduled lessons.
6. Payments, Billing, & Dispute Resolution
- Timely Payments: Students are responsible for paying for their monthly packages on time. Automated emails will be sent directly to you with your bills/invoices.
- No Pay, No Class: Payment must be settled by your established due date. If a class is scheduled but payment has not been received, the class will not be given until the balance is paid.
- Payment Portal: Future or manual payments must be completed using the verified methods on our secure portal: languageinstructor.online/fast-payment-portal/
- Billing Disputes: The student agrees to first contact languageinstructor.online to attempt to resolve any billing discrepancy or issue before initiating a formal payment dispute or chargeback with their financial institution.
7. Refund Policy
You may request a full refund within the first 24 hours after making your payment.
However, your purchase will be considered non-refundable if any of the following conditions apply:
- More than 24 hours have passed since the payment was made.
- You have already attended or accessed your first class.
- Note: Refund requests made after lesson times have already been reserved may be denied, or may be subject to deductions for administrative and scheduling costs, where permitted by applicable law.
8. Referral Program
- Successful Referral: A referral is considered successful only after the referred student successfully enrolls, purchases, and pays for their first monthly lesson package.
- Discounts: For every successful referral, you will receive a 5% discount on your next month’s package. You may accumulate multiple referral rewards, up to a maximum total discount of 20% in a single month.
9. Classroom Conduct & Camera Policy
- Environment & Safety: languageinstructor.online reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate services without refund in cases of harassment, discrimination, threats, abusive conduct, or other behavior that creates an unsafe or disruptive learning environment.
- Camera Policy: Students are generally expected to keep their webcams turned on during lessons to support interactive communication and optimal learning outcomes. Exceptions may be granted upon prior agreement.
10. Privacy, Data Storage, Lesson Recordings, & AI Summaries
- Student Data Privacy: languageinstructor.online stores student contact information, scheduling details, billing records, lesson notes, and other data reasonably required to provide educational services. This information is handled strictly confidentially and will never be sold or distributed to third parties.
- Class Recordings & 7-Day Storage: Lessons are recorded for quality assurance, pedagogical tracking, and review. These recordings are private, confidential, and will never be shared publicly. All recordings are securely stored for a period of seven (7) days, after which they are permanently deleted.
- Explicit Consent for AI Processing: To provide enhanced educational value, integrated artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) is utilized to analyze the lesson audio/video and generate a customized study summary. By finalizing your booking and proceeding with lessons, you expressly acknowledge and consent to lesson recordings and AI-assisted processing for educational purposes as described in these policies. (AI processing adheres to Google’s standard privacy and data terms).
- Intellectual Property: All custom lesson materials, worksheets, exercises, and digital content provided remain the intellectual property of languageinstructor.online and may not be redistributed, sold, or reproduced without written permission. Students may not record sessions independently without explicit prior consent.
11. Legal, Liability, & Policy Modifications
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be held responsible for cancellations or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, regional internet/power outages, or sudden emergencies.
- Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, any liability arising from the provision of lessons shall be limited to the total amount paid by the student for the affected monthly package.
- Governing Law: These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of El Salvador, unless otherwise strictly required by applicable local consumer protection laws.
- Right to Modify: These policies may be updated from time to time to reflect business changes. Students will be notified of any material changes before they take effect.
